Flaine boasts an exceptional geographic location at the top of the Grand Massif ski area, the 4th largest interconnected ski area in France (Flaine – Les Carroz – Morillon – Samoëns – Sixt).  Surrounded by majestic summits, the resort enjoys a spectacular natural setting in which to indulge in skiing and snowsports.

A resort that features Bauhaus architecture, ‘le Flaine Historique’ was awarded the ‘20th Century Heritage’ label, with some buildings listed as ‘Historic Monuments’. Often referred to as an “open-air museum“, Flaine treats visitors to many works of art, including sculptures by Picasso, Dubuffet and Vasarely.
